Gunthorpe Camping is a small family-friendly site set on a level grassy paddock next to the River Trent, making it most handy for riverside walks and bike rides direct from the grounds, and canoeing, kayaking, fishing and boat trips all nearby. There's also the National Watersports Centre and Sundown Adventureland within 40 minutes' drive… and when you're tired out and back at base, several good bars and restaurants are within a short stroll.
